History
- 2004: Creation
Adrien Schmidt, Serge Fantino and Grégoire Pauty, after working side by side for several years in an analytical CRM software company, decide to create a data access software for analytics and start Squid Solutions.
- 2005: Initial R&D
First prototype and proof of concept. First financing to set-up R&D.
- 2007: Tech Adopters
First commercial release. And what a first customer: eBay! We can demonstrate the efficiency of the technology on one of the world’s biggest datawarehouse and learn all about Internet Classifieds. Web Intelligence is born.
- 2008: Early Adopters
We continue to develop the technology and grow our expertise on Big Data analytics in Telecom (SFR) and Finance (Caisse d’Epargne).
- 2009: Early Market
Squid Solutions raises 3 million Euros from Neptune, Banque de Vizille (now CM-CIC Innovation) and private investors to develop the Web Intelligence market.
- 2011: Focus on Internet Classifieds
Squid Solutions becomes the leader of Web Intelligence for Internet Classifieds.
- 2012: Big Data Analytics in the cloud
Squid Solutions launches a Big Data platform in the cloud to foster the development of Business Applications featuring advanced analytics.
